I love this! It's like people who believe that English majors are only suited to teaching or writing. The skills we learn in English classes translate to do many other fields.
The letters mean nothing when it comes to clear and engaging writing. Honestly, until I had one of my profs (my PhD comprehensive project supervisor) give me honest feedback via litres of red inks, I would have fallen into the realm of incomprehensive academic writing. So good for you - keep owning it.
This gives me hope that my niche will find me, too! It also prompts me to lyk that Vesper is a really cool dystopian film dealing with biology (specifically fungal) related concepts that I think you'd really enjoy.
Camille, your passion shines through in this fabulous post!

How'd you like to come talk to some Bio majors here in town? We have about 800 of them.
